3 Point Columns require user to define 3 points to create columns, instead of four points like in regular column.
When option is active, mouse cursor icon is the same as in column mode. This time letter A in mouse cursor will show twice. First time it will appear when setting the first column point. User needs to double click to create first point on mouse cursor location
User can also create stitch before setting the first point.
Second time letter A shows up is when user is about to define the second column point.
Before third point is set, mouse cursor changes icon to letter B.
Created column is triangle shaped.
User can continue drawing 3 point columns using newly created 3 point column as first base point.
After the second point of the column is set, user can place the third point anywhere in the drawing. New column will be created. Second column shape does not necessarily have to be triangle.
Final shape is defined when user sets the third point.
New 3 point column can also be separate from main column. After the first column is created, user has to repeat 3 point column command. Columns will now be connected with stitch. First point is defined by the end of the stitch.
Second and third point are set the same way as in first column.
One Click Column, Outline and Outline – Auto are still work in progress and these topics will be covered when they become stable for use.
